SMILES MATTER

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT, WEAR YOUR BADGE.

The #SmilesMatter movement was born out of a need to connect with other like-minded people. By wearing your badge in public, displaying your poster, and distributing leaflets, you make a bold statement about your stance on the handling of the Sars-Cov-2 outbreak. We are not alone behind our masks and these things will help signify this.

Many of us comply with the rules and restrictions, but we do so without consent. It is very difficult to express objection to the mandated measures without risking dismissal as a reckless lawbreaker. In a world where protest has been banned and censorship is running rampant, smiles are more important than ever. Let's bring back human connection, let's bring back choice, let's bring back the smile.

Those following the #SmilesMatter movement acknowledge that Covid-19 exists and has caused suffering and excess death, but also hold at least one of the following positions:

1. The threat of the virus has been exaggerated, chiefly by flawed, mass PCR testing and the misattribution of deaths.
2. The evidence to support face coverings is weak and they perpetuate a climate of fear.
3. The social, health and economic costs of Lockdown are grossly disproportionate to any actual benefit.
4. Lockdown restrictions are unconstitutional in a liberal western democracy.

Unfortunately, despite thousands of doctors and scientists making these arguments, they are not being widely broadcast. The mainstream media have abandoned investigative journalism and have instead chosen to propagate the "official narrative." However, democracy and science only work with informed public debate which requires admission of all facts for consideration. We seek to provide the public with easy access to "the ignored side of the story" so they may arrive at a broader understanding of all the facts and not a position largely based on fear and propaganda.

Attempts have been made to smear "lockdown/mask skeptics" as fringe "Conspiracy Theorists." However, we list below websites which engage with professionals, including some of the very brightest academics from the world's top universities; for so many outstanding minds to be saying the same thing suggests there is validity in this stance and it must be considered by the wider public.

It is more important now than ever to get the word out. This is a grassroots campaign that relies on people like you to inform and educate their friends, colleagues, neighbours, and families. By showing your support and advertising your stance, we can all be a part of the solution.
